King Kong star Adrien Brody Speaks About His Animal Activism in Noah's Wish

As Oscar® winning actor Adrien Brody goes across the country to promote his latest film endeavor, King Kong, he’s still taken the time to speak about an issue close to his heart: animal charities. As the new face of Noah’s Wish, an non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the relief of animal disaster victims, Brody is standing up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

“I think the world needs more organizations of the caliber and people like Terry Crisp and Noah’s Wish,” Brody tells Paw Luxuries Magazine in the winter issue. “To look out for animals that are unable to look after themselves in this time of need is an incredible and amazing act.”

“[People being forced to leave their pets behind is reminiscent of how the Nazis behaved in the Holocaust when separating people. I don’t think that leaving animals behind during hurricane Katrina stems from cruelty. I think it was just a lack of kindness and a lack of understanding. People’s animals are like their children, and it’s like asking someone to give up one of their kids. So the less ignorance in the world, the more peace and harmony can exist.

While everyone will be speaking of Brody’s love of a big ape this holiday season, Brody shares with Paw Luxuries his love of Ceelo and Lolly, his two Chihuahuas. “They have reminded me about what’s most important to me,” Brody says. “They give me a sense of centeredness I crave. Especially after wining the Academy Award®, a lot has changed, and the world’s perception of me has really changed. No matter what, your pets will never judge you. It’s nice to have a simple honest relationship with my pal [Ceelo consistently.”

Paw Luxuries Magazine, the only magazine devoted to the world high-end pet products and luxury pet services, and has been featured on Dateline NBC, E! News Live, Access Hollywood, and has been in the goodie bags of events like the Teen Choice Awards, Silver Spoon Emmy Buffet, Jessica and Ashley Simpson’s birthday goodie bags, and the 2005 Lint Roller Party.

“People are definitely taking note of Paw Luxuries,” Halperin said of her publication. “It’s easy to see the impact that pets have in the lives of those who own them and for many, that unlimited supply of affection and unconditional love is being rewarded with a fabulous lifestyle filled with beautiful accessories.”

The magazine and its affiliated Website, www. PawLuxuries.com also offers a wide variety of pet-related resources and shopping for readers.
