Shells by the Shore Launches New Digital Art Website
Shells by the Shore have just launched a fantastic new website showcasing its unique collection of digital seashell artwork.
Stepping into the new world of digital art, Shells by the Shore is a fresh new collection that perfectly demonstrates what is possible the digital age of computers and today’s modern art. This unique collection of seashell artwork focuses on the beauty and simplicity of waves crashing on the beach contrasted with the complex colours and shapes of seashells. The collection is inspired by the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia where the artist grew up. Shaun Schellings, the creator of the Shells by the Shore shares with us how his collection came about. “My collection was inspired by my love of the beach and the ocean. I have always spent a lot of time at the beach, swimming, surfing, fishing and relaxing. Whilst beach fishing one day, waiting for that elusive big bite, I began watching the waves roll up the shore. I loved the shapes that the waves made as they crawled up the beach. This gave me the initial inspiration for these designs.”
“I love painting and have been doing this for many years now. This along with a love of photography and nature lead me to the Shells by the Shore collection. Combining my artistic skills with my computer knowledge allowed me to start mixing these mediums together. I have always enjoyed these mediums on there own and this was the perfect chance to design something using both techniques.”
