IVO's winning song, "Hold On", made a strong impact on We Are Listening staff and contest panellists with its strong composition, vocal delivery and obvious commercial appeal. We Are Listening's managing director, Lior Shamir, commented:

Now in its third year, The Singer/Songwriter Awards has produced winners that have gone on to sign publishing deals, license their catalogues to US network television and secure prominent management and PR. IVO has aligned himself with the likes Neil Dorfsman, Jeff Coplan, producer Thomas Fessler and world renowned engineer, Chris Lord-Alge, for his second title release, "Closer" (2006).
