Marty Panzer’s career as a lyricist began when an unknown piano player (and his best friend), Barry Manilow, asked him to collaborate. This collaboration resulted in over 30 songs recorded by Barry, many of which have become standards of American popular music, including "It’s A Miracle," "This One’s For You," "All the Time," and "Even Now."
Marty also co-penned Kenny Rogers’ hit "Through the Years," as well as songs for Diane Schuur's Concord release, "Midnight." These songs, along with recordings by Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Julio Iglesias, Frankie Valli, Dusty Springfield, Dolly Parton and many others, have garnered Marty 35 gold and platinum albums, four BMI million-play awards, a 3 million-play award, and record sales in excess of 70 million units.
Other credits include MGM Grand Hotel’s "EFX”, lyrics and music for "Mommy and Me," the new theme for Disney’s "Winnie the Pooh," "We Are One," from the Disney sequel to "The Lion King" – "Simba’s Pride," "Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World," and “Alice In Wonderland: Masterpiece Edition”. Marty teaches a Master Class in songwriting at UCLA, and is completing a book of personal experiences in the world of popular music.
"A cool songwriters-version of 'Inside the Actors Studio’ that gets to the heart of the inspiration and enlightening stories behind a hit song"
-Jeffrey Steele, BMI Songwriter of the Year 2003

Rick Monroe possesses the ability to take life experiences that we all share and create songs that speak to his listeners. His first album, "Legend's Diner", featured many notable players on it such as Keith Howland (Chicago), Lance Morrison (Don Henley, Alanis Morisette, Rod Stewart) and Matt Laug (Alanis Morisette, Snake Pit, Coors) and ended up charting two singles from that album on the Gavin AC chart. His second album, "Shame", produced the single ("Can I Call You Home") that reached #19 on the Gavin AC chart. To date, the two independent records released by Rick have scanned over 30,000 units. Monroe has an extensive touring history both domestically and internationally. He sang the National Anthem for the 5-year anniversary for the re-opening of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the US and followed it up with a Command Performance for the former President of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev on the USS Sequoia Presidential Yacht, Washington, DC.
Monroe is currently working on new material with Nashville producer and EMI Music Publishing Exec. Clyde Brooks.
Andrew Kurtz, recently located to LA from Boise, Idaho, under the advice of his manager Mickey Shapiro, who has been instrumental in the careers of Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke. Andrew’s lyrically intense songs, along with his driving melodies, create a moody vibe a la Radiohead and Coldplay. Andrew blends his fairytale-like poetical style with urban reality, combining beauty with the haunting chivalry of love, life, and dreams.
“When Andrew plays, you understand what he means when he is talking about heart tingling melodies… His eyes are closed and his fingers move over the strings like silk”. Erin Ryan, The Boise W
