Universal Pictures Appoints Jetset for "Dawn of the Dead" Website

Jetset Studios, a leading interactive media entertainment company, has unleashed Universal’s Dawn of the Dead movie website to rave reviews.

The site, (www.dawnofthedeadmovie.net) is a chilling extension of the zombie-infested world of the film, and is loaded with features worthy of a special edition DVD. Jetset has created a genre fan’s paradise with games, experience features and exclusive behind-the-scenes information that all resound with the film’s darkly ironic theme of a zombie apocalypse in the new millennium.

The Dawn of the Dead site features two new Jetset games:

Blackout, an aggressive 3D real time shooter that transports the user into of one of the film’s most thrilling scenes - a violent last stand against a horde of hungry zombies.

Barricade drops the user into a desperate race against time to lower the mall’s security gate before the ravenous undead crash through the glass doors. Both games employ cutting edge graphics and bring a sophistication rarely seen in movie website offerings.

The site offers other equally impressive experience features, such as the gruesome Zombie Autopsy, an interactive examination that speculates on the cause of death and subsequent reanimation of a restrained zombie specimen. There is also a well-researched Undead Timeline that covers every significant Zombie film of the last century. And since the film is a remake of the 1979 cult classic, there is an appropriately titled essay called Raising the Dead that celebrates the history and legacy of George Romero’s original zombie trilogy.
