Culturosity.com Releases Free Guide to Foreign and Independent Movies

Guide highlights non-mainstream movies that provide an interesting look at other cultures and lifestyles.

Culturosity.com announced today the release of The Pop Culturosity Movie Guide, an e-guide to foreign and independent movies available immediately and free for a limited time. The guide includes movie lists, internet resources, discussion questions, and short how-to articles.

The 15-page Pop Culturosity Movie Guide is an e-guide to foreign and independent movies that deal with other cultures and subcultures. It is the first of a series of pop culture e-guides planned by Culturosity.com and scheduled for release in 2004 and 2005. The quick guide provides “must see” movie lists, a Diving Board Discussion List, and articles like, “Movies 101: How to Find the Films You’ll Like.”

"Movie watchers need access to the great variety of films available outside of Hollywood, especially those that show life beyond mainstream US culture,” said Kate Berardo, author of the guide and founder of Culturosity.com. “The Pop Culturosity Movie Guide helps people find foreign and independent movies easily, discover the films they’ll really enjoy watching, and ‘see between the pixels’ to learn about other cultures in the process. Readers are encouraged to print out the lists and tip sheets so they can continually benefit from the guide.”

The e-guide is offered in PDF form and requires Adobe® Reader® (www.adobe.com) for viewing. The Movie Guide is free for a limited time, and is available immediately for download at www.culturosity.com.

Author Kate Berardo is the co-author of Putting Diversity to Work and founder of Culturosity.com. An intercultural specialist, she is the US Guide for doing business with Americans for Executive Planet, a member of SIETAR Europa (Society for International Education, Training, and Research), and a certified GlobeMark® Globalist with over thirty additional Brainbench® certifications.

Culturosity.com was founded in 2003 by Kate Berardo to provide resources for people seeking to learn more about other cultures. For more information, email info@culturosity.com, visit http://www.culturosity.com, or write to Culturosity.com, PO Box 785, Tahoe City, CA 96145.
