CICCHETTI Bar Caffé is pleased to announce a very special wine tasting with three of British Columbia's premier wineries from the Okanagan area.
Talk to the winemakers, taste what British Columbia's wineries have to offer, educate yourself on the wine-making process, learn about wine-pairing or just come out and try a selection of BC’s finest products.
SAPUTO, has paired a selection of fine cheese to match these outstanding Okanagan wines. LITTLE STRAW VINEYARDS will feature their 2002 Sauvignon Blanc, 2003 Select Harvest Riesling, 2000 Marechal Foch, 2000 Pinot Noir as well as an amazing Auxerrois 2001 Icewine. LITTLE STRAW VINEYARDS took first place at Kelowna's first annual International Wine Exhibition held on March 25th & 26th. GRAY MONK ESTATE WINERY has produced award-winning VQA wines for many years. One of the first grape varieties produced by GRAY MONK ESTATE WINERY was Pinot Gris. In Austria and Hungry the grape is called 'Grauar Monch' hence the translation to 'Gray Monk'. GRAY MONK ESTATE WINERY will be featuring its Pinot Gris 2002, Gewurztraminer 2002 and Auxerrois 2002. Bill Eggert, the Proprietor of FAIRVIEW CELLARS, is getting ready to release his new vintage. A wine maker for 20 years, Bill brings an unyielding focus on quality to his craft. FAIRVIEW CELLARS will be pouring an outstanding Merlot, Meritage which is 70% Sauv, 20% Merlot and 10% Franc as well as Merlot/Cabernet, full bodied Cab/Franc and a Cabernet/ Merlot. Thirteen (13) wines in total will be presented and poured from these outstanding vineyards. Special orders will be taken on April 20th for the above selected wines.
CICCHETTI Bar Caffé is a unique Italian style coffee house cum wine bar. Located in Vancouver's Luxury Retail Corridor in the heart of the business, financial and hospitality center of the city.
