Red Ink Productions Debuts in Washington DC

Red Ink Productions, a local urban gospel entertainment company, is launching it's mission to win back the hip-hop generation by hosting a fundraiser for local DC youth organization, 'The House'. Red Ink Productions is passionate about it's purpose to reclaim the values and morals of our youth by offering a wholesome, God honoring alternative to the current youth culture of violence, sex and profanity that surrounds our kids today.

Newcomer to the urban gospel entertainment scene, Red Ink Productions is making it’s debut on May 1, 2004 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington DC with a fund raising dinner for local urban youth organization, ‘The House’. The event is designed to raise money for The House’, while showcasing the talents, capabilities and services offered by Red Ink Productions.

Festivities at the event include the sounds of New York’s Gospel R&B Group, Volume II, who will be coming to the DC area specifically for this event. Also on the evening’s agenda are nationally acclaimed speaker and Director of ‘The House’, Mr. Steve Fitzhugh.

Red Ink Productions intends to fill the void created by current secular oriented entertainment with quality, God honoring alternatives. The core mission of Red Ink Productions is encapsulated in their slogan ‘Entertainment That Ministers’. Their plan is to infiltrate every aspect of the entertainment industry, from music to print and from fashion to the big screen.

Initially Red Ink Productions intends to focus on concert promotions, hosting nationally known gospel hip-hop artist such as Gospel Gangstaz, Cross Movement, BB-Jay and many others including T-Bone, whom they have booked for engagement on October 9th 2004.
Additionally, many other local and national talent shows and events are in the works.

“It is time to do whatever it takes to give the Hip-Hop generation an opportunity to accept Christ!” stated Benjamin Porter, President & CEO of Red Ink Productions. “If we must be a little more trendy and a little less traditional, then so be it. We must become like them to win them.”

Red Ink Productions wants to be an organization that produces positive influence in every community it enters. Their goal is to make the events free of charge to the public so that all who will, can benefit from the ministry of these anointed artist.
