Inpop Recording Artist James Clay just signed an exclusive management agreement with TenEntertainment, Inc. James is fresh off a 13 date tour with Shane & Shane, and radio singles Franklin Park (CHR) and Wicked Woman (rock) are currently impacting radio. The self-titled debut album is scheduled for a June 15, 2004 release.
“Our focus is not to be the largest company,” states Shannon Brown, President of TenEntertainment,“ we want anyone who works with us to be confident that we are bringing them top quality artists. James Clay is a musician and songwriter whose integrity and talent go above and beyond our expectations. We couldn’t be happier to welcome him to our company, and are excited about his bright future.”
James Clay has an amazing history that gives him maturity beyond his years. At an early age, his mother left his father and took James and his siblings to join a controlling religious cult in southern Georgia. Through God’s grace, James saw through their lies and found his answers straight from scripture.
By the age of 14, he was working full time to support his family, doing anything from jobs as a chimney sweep to moving four to five thousand live turkeys a day at a turkey factory. While supporting his family he was also completing high school and beginning to write songs. Songs about grace and mercy and finding love from a heavenly father. Over the past 8 years, through his hardship he’s been perfecting his craft. Now with his debut project releasing, James’ story of overcoming adversity, positive outlook and his journey of faith can reach out to a world that desperately needs to hear.
