Kansas Koyotes Announce Father’s Day Promotion and Media Kick & Pass Contest

The Kansas Koyotes are honoring fatherhood with a special “Dad Pass” package for their upcoming game against the Missouri Minutemen on June 19: buy one regular priced adult ticket and get a second ticket of equal value for free. The Koyotes will also feature a Media Kick & Pass Contest at halftime, with several members of the local press participating.

During halftime of the game, fathers will get a chance to win free Koyotes’ Gear and 2005 season tickets.

“Father’s Day is a day we celebrate our fathers, and we want to provide an affordable gift alternative to wacky ties and cuff links,” said Ralph Adams, president of the Koyotes. “An evening of Koyote football would be a gift that many dads will really enjoy, especially if it’s spent with their children.”

The Kansas Koyotes, 7-0, will face the Missouri Minutemen for the last regular-season game of 2004. An APFL championship game is scheduled for July 10 at the Expocentre.

Fans are invited to tailgate in the Expocentre parking lot before the game on Saturday. Spontaneous tailgate parties have been forming prior to games—with fans bringing their own food and games—while several area companies have sponsored tailgate parties for their employees.

A pressroom will be available prior to the game. The pressroom will be open approximately 1 hour before kick-off. Staff will be available for questions, and a buffet will be provided. All media members will be admitted with or without press passes.
