Kaye P. Brooks, author, has landed a principle part as a teacher in a new Independent Film

Its unpredictability takes viewers through twists and turns culminating in an ending that is spiritually uplifting but emotionally draining as long-time mysteries and misunderstandings come to light. It is a story about choices," says the films L.A. baded Producer, Adiel Eshkenazi.

"Get Connected" is being directed by Bryan Pierre. The Executive Producer is Tommie Williams And Gold City Motion Pictures. The pre-production film will be shot at the famous Jackie Yates High School.

Get Connected tells a story of a group of students spiritually and dedicatedly embraced by a high-school teacher, Ms Hunter. Her early murder/demise disbands the connection group and sends The Connection Group down various paths with little or no guidance from their late mentor. Marcus, the lead character, as well as the rest of The Connection Group grows from high school to present day, thene continue ten years after that fateful day.

Ms. Brooks appeared in movie roles including. "Tin Cup", "Evening Star", and "Arlington". She also has several music videos, and commercials to her credit. Brooks' book, "It's Your Thang", was adapted into a stage play which is now touring Texas cities after a successful debut production in Houston.
