Resumes from Hell Selected as Highlighted Title by Independent Publisher.com

OCTOBER 9, 2004 -- Resumes from Hell, an illustrated "how not to" humor book featuring some of the worst (and funniest) moments from the worst resumes ever made, was recently selected as a Highlighted Title by Independent Publisher (IndependentPublisher.com).

Independent Publisher receives about 300 book submissions a month for its Highlighted Title program, and selects a small group of these to feature in their program. According to Independent Publisher, "These books are honored each months for exhibiting superior levels of creativity, originality, high standards of design, and superior production quality."

Sample chapters (and author bios) from the Resumes from Hell can now be viewed online at the Resumes from Hell.com web site. (
http://www.resumesfromhell.com).

Advance copies of the book have hit the mark with readers. After reading the book, Patrick Borelli, comedian, wrote, "Before you sent me this book, I thought you were making this stuff up. Dead references, bitter jabs at old bosses - these resumes really are from hell! And thanks for not putting my resume in here!"

Galley copies of the book (as well as a reviewers' fact sheet) are available for review upon request. The authors, Jon Reed and Rachel Meyers, are also available for interviews.

Book info at a glance: Resumes from Hell, release date November 2004, ISBN number 0-9725988-1-2, page count 160.

Advance copies of Resumes from Hell are now available for purchase and Barnes and Noble.com (
www.bn.com).
