Brainbox Productions and Court TV Announce the World Premiere of INVESTIGATORS: Head Cases

Silver Spring, MD November 9, 2004 -- BrainBox Productions Inc., a Silver Spring, MD based Production Company, journeys into the extraordinary world of Frank Bender, the self-proclaimed "Recomposer of the Decomposed,” in a new episode of COURT TV’s INVESTIGATORS series Wednesday, November 10th @ 8pm.

A life-long resident of Philadelphia and world-renowned forensic artist, Frank Bender has helped solve 7 cases on the US MARSHALS and FBI’s Most Wanted List. He has also helped solve cases for Interpol and Scotland Yard. His facial reconstructions have revealed identity to over 40 anonymous corpses and convicted dangerous escaped prisoners that have been searched for in nationwide manhunts.

Head Cases explores three of Bender's most unique cases, going in-depth with the creator himself to find out how much of his art is based on science...and how much is just natural intuition. Bender joins forces with the US MARSHALS Fugitive Task Force, a unique team made up of a mix of law enforcement officers as well as civilian artists and criminal specialists.

"Hitchcockian" elements, recreations of escapes and murders representing the "incomplete picture Bender works with," richly engineered audio, and dramatic shots that have been carefully edited will make for an exciting episode. "Brainbox expects the effect of the recreations and the overall show to be one of intrigue, suspense, and mystery, emphasizing a theme that is prominent in Frank Bender's work: identifying the unidetifiable and visualizing the unseen." (iCOM Magazine 2/04, p. 2)
