SAG Awards™ Presenters Receive Gifts from SilverGallery.com
Waynesboro, VA February 8, 2005 -- Silver Gallery (www.silvergallery.com) was chosen to appear backstage at the 11th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® as an official provider of gifts for celebrity presenters. The distinguished roster of presenters for the SAG Awards™ this year included Clint Eastwood, Julie Andrews, Leonardo DiCaprio, Rosario Dawson, James Denton, Dennis Franz, Morgan Freeman, Melissa Gilbert, Anthony LaPaglia, Sandra Oh, Teri Polo and Charlize Theron, all of whom personally chose from a selection of upscale gifts provided by the Silver Gallery.
“We are thrilled and deeply honored that the Screen Actors Guild & Backstage Creations chose our company to be a part of the official gift collection for the SAG Awards™,” says Silver Gallery Co-President Stacey Strawn Evans, “It was a night to celebrate the achievements of some of the world’s finest actors and actresses, and we provided gifts worthy of their stature.” Each item was individually reviewed in advance by both the Screen Actors Guild and Karen Wood’s Backstage Creations, who created a lush backstage Talent Retreat for SAG celebrities for the fifth consecutive year.
Backstage at the SAG Awards™, presenters, producers and other A-List celebrities visited Silver Gallery’s table where Stacey Strawn Evans and Stephen Dahl, Co-Presidents of Silver Gallery, displayed their line of luxury gifts and invited them to choose one for themselves. Each celebrity then used Silver Gallery’s unique engraving pen to sign a pewter tray engraved with the Screen Actors' Guild logo to create a one-of-a-kind collectible. This amazing keepsake is Silver Gallery's donation to the SAG Foundation and it is currently being offered for sale as part of the Screen Actors Guild Awards® Fifth Annual eBay Auction to benefit the SAG Foundation.
Silver Gallery's table at the retreat was the highlight of the evening, as celebrities like Teri Hatcher and Clint Eastwood smiled with delight at their selections. The items included in Silver Gallery's gift selection were:
