Charities: The New Face of Online Dating

SUDBURY, Ontario  August 13, 2005 -- Online dating communities have been the fastest growing sector online over the last 2 years. This is paralleled with charities that are struggling financially due to government cutbacks and an ever increasing competition for the very elusive donor dollar.

Venture Initiatives for Philanthropy (V.I.P.) has aggressively set out to bridge the two through SingleswithHeart.com. The singles benefit from unlimited time in chat rooms, private messaging and audio / video technology all located within a unique online environment. Business owner Ms. Pappin was quoted as saying "an overwhelming number of the singles surveyed indicated that they would appreciate an online area with an ambiance closer to a quaint café rather than the historical party atmosphere." Singles may post stories read articles while never having to contend with any offensive material.
