Visionary film directors have dreams; director Tim Burton has nightmares. And while most directors may wake up screaming in their beds at their nightmares, one suspects that Burton wakes up giggling manically at his. But now the quirky, creepy creator of such darkly romantic movie classics as "Edward Scissorhands" and "Nightmare Before Christmas" is facing the one thing that makes him lie awake in white-knuckled dread just like any mere mortal - the nationwide release of his newest film, "Corpse Bride" on Friday, September 16, starring the voice talents of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.
