As U2 fans converge on Boston for 3 sold out shows, a benefit event will be held on May 23rd at the Paradise Rock Club. Featuring a performanCe by the Boston-based U2 tribute band, The Joshua Tree, all proceeds from the evening will be donated to the African Well Fund.
Passim Folk Music and Cultural Center in Cambridge, Mass. will celebrate the 47th Anniversary of Club 47 with a three-day celebration with performances, stories and images from 47 years of Passim’s history. The celebration will take place May 19-21, 2005 and will feature two consecutive nights of concerts at Harvard’s Sanders Theatre and a free concert on Cambridge Common, co-sponsored by the Cambridge Arts Council.
